Current mood: INsightFUL <|;^)) Kontrivance
(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 24 January 2010)

A kontrivance linked by hinges fell open in layers
Of various shapes and sizes
In an array of colours
Each a door to the whole
Which fell into oblivion once
And twice into sainthood
But ‘What the hell!’, she said
‘Even Christ never made a second coming.’
Though the legacy of insight and challenge remain
And how so creation by a series of linkages
Ever changing
Though the disparate parts were always there
Still are for that matter
Which will seem to matter
And then not
Kontrivance

Current mood: blissful

resilience
(a poem-prose written by martin eden on 24 january 2010)

it’s a nail biting exercise
the dust and the grit
and failures to boot

but what of it
sayeth the lord of others
the same nasty of eden

so henceforth they fly
and crash into each other
these run-aways from failure

while it is i who moves on
the better for the experience
the more resilient, self icon

but why is the harder
the warmer in the end
aye, for the broader base

Current mood: <|;^)) Philosophical Decreationism
(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 26 November 2009)

The mirror fell on the floor of doom
And shattered into a millenium of pieces
Each with its own ending
Each shard could draw blood and reflect
Many millenia of suffering and survival
And a god that fell upon his knees in regret
The pieces seemed uncertain and alone
Yet shared a certain commonality
A lowest common denominator of minimalist selves
Which appealed to certain media tycoons and politicians
And this all egged on till the sun, hell, froze over

Current mood: <|;^)) Philosophical Darkness
(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 22 November 2009)

I can see in the darkness
What I could not in the light
Why is that I ask myself

Conditioning
For what purpose
And by whom

But that is an endless enquiry
Suffice to say we better know ourselves in the darkness
Maybe that’s the way of the universe

Current mood: apathetic

Deism
(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 15 November 2009)

There’s a man inside the conglomerate
He decides on the insight of divorce
And finds a conjunction of unfreedoms
The modern world

His party washed up along the shore
Only to be rejected by its own fate
Where humanity reversed over it
To where greed feeds on idealism
In endless fear

Where to now the misogynist’s creation
But relentless defence of property and realm
And whether it be a weathered outcome
It was not his constituency
But loss of pride

To be not wise
To not know experience
To grasp at any banner
Taking sides to prevent compassion
To paradise foregone at any cost
In the hope of a smorgasboard of errant salvation
