Chalice
(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 5 & 6 June 2009)

A repository of genetic mutation I am
The blood that courses through my veins
Pulsates the demands of those before me
It’s hard to be me
Yet there’s a sense of strange belonging
In the face of the many creeds and fears
Externally pressured upon me

A desert I must cross
With each recurring vacuum of the mind
Where opportunist creeds and fears jump in
To take away control
And self-motivation is the prize
Of dug-in persistent action
And an unsurrendered personal whole

(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 24 May 2009)

On a solitude cloud I ride
Observing my life below me
Where she hides and I follow
Where I lead and she tries

On a solitude cloud I ride
To see my anger subside to
Where they seem to know me
Before I seem to know them

On a solitude cloud I ride
As if I can be happy
Before the butterfly rests on my shoulder
Before the birds’ inspiring chorus

(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 23 May 2009)

Dreamer prophesy
What needs to be in the sky
Never once have you failed
Despite the dominance of greed and aggression

Dreamer prophesy
Our common path
Beyond borders, hierarchy and faith
Where we each determine our own fate

Dreamer prophesy
A life above hope
Where each has all needs satisfied
And none needs suffer in redemption while the few in usury feast

(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 19 & 20 May 2009)

The polyglot from Babylon
Could not see what the fuss was about
But there seemed to be a Nation State thing going on
And a jealousy on God’s Part of human heights
Let alone the Hubble Telescope, so revealing

(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 17 & 18 May 2009)

Kindness is so fragile
It comes in disguise
And those who have it are few and far between

Usually it is missed due to inattentiveness
But sometimes it knocks long and hard
It’s then that you need it most

Often we don’t know what we want
Because in anger we don’t stop to think
Or perhaps self-absorption just has that effect
The numbness and fear of kindness’s demise

Self Preservation
(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden 13-15 May 2009)

What brings us back
From the depths of despair
Or at least the entertainment of
Usually a kind word
Or any kind of kindness
But more often
Time and wisdom gained
Self awareness and self perception
Certainly not a herd-like religion
A crutch like any other drug
But an innate connective strength
Where equality is seen and more so felt
In everybody and everything
Pulsating and communicating
From a common inner beat
So uninhibited and natural

Mother’s Day
(A Poem-Prose written by Martin Eden on 10May1998)

Mother you’ve always been there
Whenever I needed you, your care
You tell me what I need to hear
Even when it’s hard to bear

Sometimes I feel rejected, abandoned
And I come to you
And sometimes I don’t realize
That you need that something too

It’s been a pain-filled time for me
A time of boundless challenge
A time of tears and transformation
Journeying through my underworld

And while I search for that special one
And long for her touch and confirmation
I have you to come to for solace
To help me through my doubts and fears

I know I’ve let you down at times
And that it seems things may not change
It’s then I need your un-conditional love
To know and find it, within myself

Dzień Matki
(Jeden Poemat-Proza napisane przez Marcin Eden na 10May1998)

Matka byłaś zawsze na miejscu
Za każdym razem potrzebowałem ciebie, twoją opieke
Ty mi powiesz co muszę słuchać
Nawet jeśli trudno jest opatrzone

Czasem czuję się odrzucony, opuszczony
I ja przyjde do ciebie

Czas wzywania bezgranicznym
Czas łez i przekształcenia
Podróżowanie przez moje ciemne czasy

I podczas wyszukiwania tą szczególną
I czekam na jej kontakt i potwierdzenie
Moge do ciebie przyjść na pocieszenie
Aby pomóc mi poprzez moje wątpliwoćci i obawy

Aby poznać i znaleźć, w siebie

(Una poesia-prosa scritto da Martino Eden su 10May1998)

Madre tu sono sempre state ci

A volte mi sento respinto, abbandonato
E io vengo a voi

So ho delusi voi a volte si
A conoscere e trovare esso, all’interno di me stesso
