HISTORY

Granted the eleventh A-League license midway through 2009, Melbourne Heart FC will make its competition debut in 2010 for the 2010-2011 Season, led by former Dutch international John van ’t Schip.

The ex-Ajax star will be assisted by fellow internationals Jesper Olsen and Ante Milicic, as the club strives to meet the highest standards of professionalism on and off the park.

The club has already secured the signings of Socceroos’ Dean Heffernan, Kristian Sarkies and Matt Thompson as well as youngster Jason Hoffman, with more poised to be announced in the future.
